Christopher Mourich set a new PR in the 200 IM with a swim of 2:05.19, over four seconds better than his seed time in the event.Īspen Monkhouse won the 50 free prelim with a time of 23.71 to advance to the NWC finals session in that event, just three hundredths of a second shy of the NCAA 'B' standard for 2022. Hunter Bartoo swam a 1:57.90 in the 200 IM and Aries Valenzuela was also able to make the cut for the NWC finals with a swim of 2:02.28. All three made the cut for NWC finals in the 500 free. Audrey LeMoss was just behind Wood at 5:26.07 and Madeline Angerame finished 16th at 5:36.83. Gabrielle Wood led the Bruins in the 500 free with a time of 5:24.83. The Bruins took down multiple program records in the morning's prelim swims and put a program-record number of swimmers into the day's finals on day two of the 2022 Northwest Conference Championships.
